Nai Nami in Kiswahili means “Nairobi with me”. We offer an inspirational “off-the-beaten-track” experience of Nairobi Downtown, guided by youth from slums, who raised themselves in the streets. During a customized walking tour with your personal guides, you will experience the “real” Nairobi from their perspective. Exchange with your guides and learn from their street skills, which they gained during their daily struggles. Ask all your questions, get the real insights into their way of life and get inspired and captivated by their life stories and ghetto-energy.

Our goal is to provide opportunities for unemployed youth from slums to put their energy and street skills as tour guides into practice in order to earn a regular income. The exchange that will occur during the tour will expose youth to a potential role model (tourists) to receive some guidance and inspiration in life.
