The Arizona Federation of Stamp Clubs is proud to host the 59th consecutive Stamp show, ARIPEX. Each year we have a unique theme and this year we chose the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development. The United Nations Postal Administration will be attending. We are hosting 2 international collector clubs. Mexico Elmhurst Philatelic Society International (MEPSI)and The Canal Zone Study Group (CZSG). We will have a Tourism table filled with unique Arizona attractions.

ARIPEX is also hosting the official United States Postal Service First Day of Issue Ceremony for Uncle Sam’s Hat on Saturday, February 18, 2017, from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM The design features oval shapes representing faces, each topped off with a stovepipe version of Uncle Sam’s stars-and-stripes hat.
The faces are all different shades and colors, suggesting the ethic and racial diversity of the United States, according to the Postal Service. Antonio Alcala designed the stamp.
If you attend the First Day of Issue Ceremony on Saturday, February the 18th., we ask you to feel free to wear a hat that exemplifies your cultural ethnic background or a hat that is significant to you.
